1. Information we use
To provide SIGMATELOS, we process account email, nickname, avatar, bio, simulation results and actions, interactions, and your privacy choices. Authentication and necessary network information support service operation and security.
2. How information is used
Information supports sign-in and recovery, simulations and result verification, saved history, sharing and interactions, moderation, and abuse prevention. Optional promotional emails are off by default and can be disabled.
3. Public results and personal profiles
Competition nicknames and verified results appear in public rankings by default; you may hide rankings or individual seasons. For new accounts, profiles, avatars, bios, honors, aggregate results, CEO statements, and like counts are visible by default and can be hidden in privacy settings. Existing saved choices are preserved. Email, passwords, verification codes, round strategies, and raw IP addresses are not public to other players.
4. IP and approximate region
Necessary network information supports security. Public IP regions must come from verified server identification, not manual entries. No location provider is currently connected; unknown regions remain unidentified. Approximate region is not precise location, and you can hide it.
5. Retention and deletion
Account information and simulation history are retained to provide the service. You may export your data or delete your account after verification. If the application retains raw IP data, it normally expires within 7 days, except for justified legal or security investigation retention. Necessary audits and backups follow their retention rules; backup copies are not erased immediately.
6. Your choices and rights
Settings let you manage visibility, hide seasons, export your own data, request corrections or deletion, and submit private privacy requests. Optional promotion settings do not affect necessary sign-in or security processing.
7. Cookies, hosting, and providers
Necessary cookies maintain sessions, and local storage keeps language and appearance preferences. Hosting and mail providers process data needed to deliver the service within their roles. Third-party location lookups are not enabled merely to display an IP region.
8. Age and policy updates
The current minimum registration age is 18. Important changes to data processing or privacy choices are explained through policy updates or account notices. This policy remains available for review.
